Podcast with Innotainment

I made a little appearance on the Innotainment Podcast, and let me tell you… It was way more fun than I expected. Big thanks to Aga Gajownik for having me on as we covered everything from escape-room leadership to why my late ADHD diagnosis completely rewired how I understand teams.
At one point in the conversation, I said, “A lot of organizations believe you have to earn trust…I believe the exact opposite. I believe trust is free.”…and I didn’t realise how much it landed until Aga later told me the impact that statement had on her. For me, especially after learning I had ADHD later in life, trust became non-negotiable.
My “Trust Speech,” which I explain in the podcast, became a core part of my management philosophy. It’s an unstated, non-negotiable foundation of every escape-room workshop we run at Teamwork Unlocked, because when you start with trust, people stop trying to survive the room… and start actually solving it together. The podcast was one of those conversations where you forget the mic is on because you’re just having a genuinely good time. Give it a listen here.
If “trust first” leadership is something your team could use more of, come try one of our escape-room workshops at Teamwork Unlocked. We’ll show you what happens when people finally feel safe enough to think clearly together.
